Hola mi familia?
Como estan? So I got thinking this week, I have no idea what I have really been writing to you guys because I never have enough time to reread what I type. I just type whatever comes to my mind. So please disregard any typos or random thoughts.
Thank you so much for the package and the letters. I loved getting those pictures! Lex that coyote corsage was a good look for you! ha but from now on warn me before you just go willy nilly sending pictures of the prettiest girls on earth! All the missionaries here went crazy! I take crap everyday from missionaries wanting to date you! Unfortunately, I have high standards for my sisters, but there is still one elder in my district that I would maybe consider letting him take you out. He is such a stud. I don't know if I have already told you about Elder Nauahi, but he is such a stud! Neither of us really like our companions too much so we go on "splits" all the time. He is from Boise, Idaho and is like the only other elder here that takes this call to serve seriously. He works hard with me and we have so much fun doing it together.
1. Where is Zac's letter from this week? That was sweet getting it through dear elder last week.
2. I need one of those like sponge thingies to use for my body wash... Know what I am talking about?
3. Do I get to choose a picture for my missionary plaque or does our ward just do where I am serving?
4. I found out from other elders, that my mission won't allow backpacks because they cause your back to develope a fungus from all the sweat and humidity. So, I was wondering if you could sent me out like a satchel type bag with one strap.
5. I was also wondering if you could send me Zac's mission home address and current address, so I could write him since I don't have time to email him and just want to keep in touch with him directly. I have some questions about his MTC experience and things... like how did he take those "matrix" pics or lazer beam pics?! Those overload my mind! ha
I think those are all of my needs for right now! I hope I am not being too bossy. Oh and thanks so much for those two pens too! They are the bomb! Pens here are like sports cars in the rest of the world, and the Zebra F-301 is the most coveted of all! It is so smooth writing and delicious! Thank you thank you thank you! Carrying two of those bad boys around gives me "Status" here at the MTC. ha ha.
Well shoot, the other night I got talking with the guys in my room (Elder Gubler and Elder Drussel are also studs!) and we got talking about our families. I am not like homesick or anything, but we just got talking about how much we regretted not spending enough time with our families. I had things so backwards in high school! It brakes my heart to think of all those weekend nights that we tried to have family night and I either thought it was a punishment or else left with friends. I had sweet friends and everything, but they aren't the ones I miss right now. I sure love all you guys!
I am still keeping in touch with Tanner. He and Bro. Wing wrote me thise week, so I am writing them back today. Things seem to be going well for both of them and Tanner's papers are in. Apparently, Jared also got his mission call but didn't think to tell me! Freaking punk! ha I found out through Elder Bryan, who found out through momma bryan who found out from Jared's mom. Out of sight out of mind, I guess.
Well Lex Luther just briefly mentioned the outlaws in her letter, but totally left me hanging! How is the season going? Have any of the teams forgeited to our superior force yet?
Oh my goodness and I am missing my babies! I love the picture of them in the fast Sunday tie! Sometimes I get scared at night and I don't have my brave bros to protect me!!
Oh and you also asked about how I met elder Stevens... I ran in to him on the first day! We just got talking at dinner and he said he was from Holladay, so I asked about the Quists. He was like Katie Quist? And I thought that was pretty weird but then I saw his name tag and he said Scott was his brother. It was crazy! Then come to find out he is on my same floor in my building and in my gym time... he is either in my same zone or in the one we always combine with. He is a pretty cool cat.
Yesterday, Elder Gubler, Drussel, and I decided to have a fast just to be better missionaries. It was the neatest experience ever. I felt so much better about the language and teaching and everything. I know this is where I am supposed to be and I love it so much.
Yo se que la Iglesia de JesuCristo es verdadero y Jose Smith fue un profeta de Dios. Yo se que las families pueden estar juntas para siempre.
I am out of time, but next week I will try to throw in some more espanol!
I love you all!
Elder Jergensen
