Hola mis grasas!
It was way sweet to get to talk to you yesterday... but I didn't get to find out anything from your lives! Goodness! I really love hearing just whatever... like how is work going today? What's going on with the Jazz? Have Lex report on how her AP tests go... just whatever. I love you all so much. ha pops no I get 10 dollars every week! It sounds like nothing, but it really goes a long way. I really don't want you all to worry about me. Everything here is just fine. I don't want to burden you thinking that I will starve without packages. I love getting them, but my life doesn't depend on them so no worries. This month I have figured out how to manage my money.... because last month I got kinda taken advantage of by my companion. He kept forgetting his money and having sudden earges to buy a snack while we are tracting so I would by like a 25 cent nutrigrain bar and he would buy a large drink and a bag of cookies and chips, so I got scammed, so now I just told him that we have our own money for food and always remind him to bring his in case he gets hungry. All is well here... I just had to point out some of the harder things while Zac was on the phone cuz I can't have him getting all high and mighty on his AP throne. ha it was so sweet to talk to all of you.
Mom, I wanted to make a bigger deal of your special mothers day! You are the best mom in the world! All the other missionaries keep telling me how their moms have forgotten them and say you will do the same, but I just tell them that they got scammed and my mom isn't like the rest. I am like the mommas boy of the mission and take pride in it. I don't know if I ever told you this, but whenever things get hard here and I feel too tired to work, I think of a quote I heard in the MTC that is "be the missionary your mom thinks you are." As soon as I think of you, I can't let you down. You are my motivation when things seem too hard. Thank you so much for everything you do for me and for teaching me the truth and the gospel. Being here has opened my eyes to just how incredible you are. You are one in a million and I don't know how I got so lucky to have you as my mom. I can't even express how much I love you and appreciate you!! Tell the babies (that now includes the girls too) to freaking do the dishes and clean every chance they get. If I could have all those years back, I would do anything to serve you or whatever I could to show you how much I love you. Youre amazing! Thank you for everything!
Well I am off to Playa, but I love you all so much! It was awesome to talk to all of you! Keep writing about whatever thing you think is boring... even orthodontist appointments! ha dean greaser!
