Hey family!
I loved hearing from you all and recieving your emails! I like the letter idea that mom has too. I just like how you guys write me now, with a mix of letters and emails. So thanks and keep it up! I'm glad the babies had a good b day. I can only imagine the craziness of 10 babies running around the fun park. Sounds like a grand time!
I got a letter from Tyson this week too. It was good to hear from him and cool to hear how he is experiencing some of the same things I did. It sounds like he is doing well but he has also come to the realization that missionaries aren't perfect. It's funny because you come out and you have this image of what missionaries and a mission should be but then you realize it isn't picture perfect. So he is going through the shock of that but he will be fine as long as he keeps trusting in the Lord and remembering that this isn't about him.
The highlight of the past week for me was going to the Winter Quarters temple Saturday. It was so cool! It will definitly have to be a stop for you guys when you come out here. There is so much history there! I haven't done an endowment session since last April so that was good to finally do one of those again. We also did initiatories which I have never done since I did them for myself. I had been wondering how the dead get the Melchizedek Priesthood since it is an essential ordinance and all, and now I know. There is still a lot of the temple I don't fully understand, but I definitely plan on going a ton back in Logan.
At the visitors center our tour guide was Sis. Brady who is from Grace, Idaho and apparently knew Britten which was cool. Did Britten ever get his mission call?
Other then that we are still working with our same investigators. One cool new thing was that the Espinosa's brought her niece to church with them yesterday. Jessyca was the one we baptized in December and we are trying to start working with her family. So we hope that with her sisters daughter coming we can hopefully get the rest of the family involved as well.
Another cool item is that we had interviews this past week and I got a Zone Pday approved for next week. It is going to be awesome! We are all going up to Ames to ball. There are going to be about 20 missionaries there so Elder Ware and I are organizing a tournament. We had a draft and everything and trades are open with a trade deadline of this Sunday. I haven't had a Zone Pday before so I'm pretty pumped.
Well I gotta run but I'm sure I'll have some good stories for you all next week. I love you all!
Love
Elder Jergensen
